What is Network Address Translation?

The new Network Address Translation (NAT) functionality in the Cisco routers allows privately addressed networks to connect to public networks such as the Internet. When the privately addressed network (the “inside”) sends a packet through the NAT router, the addresses are converted to legal (registered) IP addresses before being passed to the “outside”.

Many sites have been using pass-through firewall gateways to provide this functionality. Well, it’s now available in your Cisco router!

We want to erase the banner. To do this, open the Mikrotik router files and delete the sys-note.txt file.

The acronym RMON stands for Remote Network Monitoring. As you know, we update the NTP (Network Time Protocol) information in the SNTP Client service and keep the date/time of RouterOS up to date.

But this service provides free ntp.org and similar providers dynamically provide NTP server information via DNS.
RouterOS’de time server information (SNTP Client) in the field of this information can be entered as a rope, or even if the domain is entered as the current rope records the information.
