TCP/IP Model
The TCP/IP demonstrate was made in the 1970s by the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency (DARPA). As the OSI demonstrate, it depicts general rules for planning and executing PC conventions. It comprises four layers: Network Access, Internet, Transport, and Application:
The accompanying picture demonstrates the examination between the TCP/IP model and OSI display:
As should be obvious from the photo over, the TCP/IP display has fewer layers than the OSI show. The Application, Presentation, and Session layers of the OSI demonstrate are converged into a solitary layer in the TCP/IP shows. Likewise, Physical and Data Link layers are called the Network Access layer in the TCP/IP display.
