MİKROTİK PPPoE CLIENT CREATION

Things to do step by step;
We will shut down the DHCP Server, NAT, and Firewall on our ADSL Modem.
We will get the ADSL Connection mode from the ADSL Modem to BRIDGE MODE.
We will give IP to Local Interface on Mikrotik.
We will define the PPPoE Client for ADSL connection.
We’ll start the NAT definition and start sharing.

I cannot show here how to turn off DHCP Server, NAT, and Firewall on your ADSL Modem because all modems are different. You will find these settings in your own modem.

Since I have enabled the use of peer DNS option when linking ADSL, the DNS that are assigned from telecom automatically came here automatically if you want to go to the internet from different DNS.

After choosing our local leg to install DHCP, we say Next

First, enter the interface menu and press the + button to add PPPoE client.

You can write something distinctive by name.
From the Interface section which appears to be red, we have to choose which leg we entered from our ADSL line.
Let’s write our username and password

In the User field, you must enter our username and password. If we made our modem settings correctly, we need to see connected in the Status section that appears in the bottom right in a minute.
In this section, it is necessary to know that the Add Default Route option is our internet connection, so this is the actual wan connection to use this line to select the load balance is useful to choose this option. Use Peer DNS if we do not have a DNS server in our system, or if we do not have to write manually, we need to select this option.
Let us assign a rope to our local network and install DHCP;
From the IP tab, we click on the addresses, and we’re writing the local group, which leg we want to select and the group we want to distribute. As an example, I presented my own rope blog.

If we have accomplished this step successfully, we came to the DHCP configuration;
Again, select DHCP Server from IP menu and click DHCP setup in DHCP tab.

After choosing our local leg to install DHCP, we say Next

Here we select the block of ropes that our DHCP Server will assign to our network.

31

Here we specify our default gateway.

32

In this section, if you have a DHCP server that will be repeated to us, we are asked to enter his IP blog because we do not use DHCP relay, we are skipping this next direct.

33

At this stage, the rope block will be distributed to the next stage by saying the next stage.

34

Since I have enabled the use of peer DNS option when linking ADSL, the DNS that are assigned from telecom automatically came here automatically if you want to go to the internet from different DNS.

35

It indicates the lease periods of the ropes to be assigned here. I set the default of 3 days by default, saying I’m ending.

If you have received the warning in the figure, we have successfully completed our configuration.
From the firewall required nat configuration;
Again we enter the firewall from the IP menu from there to the nat tab and we are doing a masquerade for our outgoing connection.

In this way, select our current local leg and go to the Action tab.

If we have completed this process, we will complete the network output of the computers in our local network. Of course, we do not forget to make a mask in the PPPoE client connection, we do it in the network by providing computers to the internet output.

After this stage, we are masking again

If we complete the changes we made on the firewall, we press and save the arrow button and we complete the process successfully.
The computers in our network will be able to access the internet successfully by providing the PPPoE connection via Mikrotik

I hope it has been a useful article.
