How to Use Andromax LTE 4G Modem on Mikrotik
WiFi Modem (MiFi) Smartfren Andromax is a multifunction WiFi Modem sold by Smartfren which can be directly used by the user, either using WiFi or USB as 4G LTE modem. But the features in Andromax itself is quite limited, which can only be used for a maximum of 32 users and no user management, and bandwidth management. So if used to be crowded bouts of bandwidth seizure right?
But, why use Smartfren Andromax? why not use other 4G Modem? The answer is simple, because of Smartfren again promo, where buy Andromax Quota, can be quite large, ie 30GB. Steady right?

WiFi Modem (MiFi) Smartfren Andromax can be used on Mikrotik. There are several types of MiFi Andromax on the market, but not all types can be recognized by Mikrotik. One type of Andromax that can be recognized and used in Mikrotik is Andromax M2P.

5. Create a DHCP Client so that Mikrotik gets IP Address from Andromax. IP -> DHCP client -> Add -> Interface select LTE Andromax, according to the picture above.
6. Do not forget to create a Masquerade NAT rule on IP -> Firewall -> NAT

7. If we want to share its internet connection via WiFi, first enable the wlan1 interface, please set as desired.
8. Make a Mikrotik Hotspot using MiFi Andromax we can do now. Please use the Hotspot Wizard with the interface used by LTE Andromax.

Note that not all Andromax WiFi Modems can be recognized by Mikrotik, only certain types that use Huawei Chipset, such as Andromax M2P. As for other types that use the new Qualcomm MDM 9307 Chipset until this article is created cannot be recognized by Mikrotik. MiFi types that do not support Mikrotik are:
Andromax M3Y
Andromax M3Z
Andromax M2S
Andromax M2Y
etc
