How to Share Screen in Zoom Meetings?

Due to the epidemic caused by the Covid-19 virus, most people are now working at home offices or studying, and the video meeting and training need is provided by third-party applications such as Zoom. In a Zoom call, you may eventually need to share your screen with attendees, and you may need to give screen sharing permission to another user. Now Let’s see how this is done.

Share Your Screen When Calling

You can also share your screen at any time during the Zoom Meeting. During the call, simply select the “Share Screen” button at the bottom of the window.

Alternatively, you can use the hotkeys Alt + S (Command + Shift + S for Mac) on Windows 10.

You will now be in the “Share Screen” tab of the screen sharing options window. Here you can select the screen you want to share (if you are connected to more than one monitor), a specific application currently open (Word, PowerPoint, Chrome, etc.), or a Whiteboard.

After selecting the screen you want to share, just click the “Share” button in the lower right corner of the window.

If we want to end screen sharing, just click the “Stop Sharing” button, which is the red button at the top of the screen you are currently sharing. Alternatively, we can also use the hotkey Alt + S (Command + Shift + S for Mac).

Allowing Other Users in Zoom to Share Their Screen

I recommend keeping your zoom calls as secure as possible. However, in some cases, we may have to allow participants to share their screens.

To do this, select the arrow next to “Screen Sharing” at the bottom of the window during the meeting. Select “Advanced Sharing Options” from the menu that appears.

The “Advanced Sharing Options” window will open. Here, we will be presented with options such as who can share their screen, when they can share their screen, and how many participants can share their screen at the same time.
