One of the biggest problems of especially system administrators is whether the devices under their responsibility are hardware and software stable. For example, to check if a web server is currently running, it will either check the web page or connect to the server and check the services. However, nowadays, with many applications under the name of developed IT Monitoring, we are able to monitor our system resources with up-down, service, disk, cpu, ram, bat files, and many other control points.

Mikrotik Hotspot System makes all Users must Login first in order to access the internet. Sometimes there are some users who are lazy to log in and want to be able to directly enter Hotspot without login or Bypass Login Hotspot Mikrotik. To accommodate this user request, we can take advantage of the Hotspot IP-Bindings feature.

IP Bindings allows us to bypass certain user hotspots without having to go through the authentication process (login). In addition, IP Binding also allows us to block certain users so that he can not access the hotspot network.

What are VQP and VMPS

We talked in a prior article about configuring ports to belong to a VLAN. This is the static approach to VLAN’s, where a port is always a member of a specific VLAN. You can also configure a port to dynamically determine what VLAN to belong to. Initially (and fundamentally) this process is tied to the MAC address of the end station on the port. Cisco is in the process of making this much more administrator-friendly (and useful!) by tying it into directory servers — more on that later.

What is a Trunk?

We’ve seen in the previous article that a VLAN is a broadcast domain, a collection of ports or users that we wish to group together within an IP subnet, IPX network. We’ve also seen that VLAN’s work to control broadcast, multicast, unknown destination, and problem frame flooding. Our previous discussion centered on the concept of what a VLAN is, perhaps from the perspective of a single switch.
