In my first article about how to work with files and directories           in Java we looked at these topics:

  • the “File” class from the package “java.util”, that gives you information about the files and directories contained in a given directory.

Missing .DLL files. Errors

Cause: Typically caused by incomplete software/program installation.

Solution:

  • Reinstall software. Find the missing DLL and copy it to system32 and/or SysWOW 6432 folder.
  • Registered DLL if needed through CMD. Example: regsvr32 “name of DLL”
  • Restart your computer
  • Restore the deleted DLL file from the Recycle Bin
  • Run a virus/malware scan of your entire system.
  • Update drivers for any hardware that might be related to the DLL error.

Kernel Mode Exception Not Handel

The Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) errors with the name “KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED” in Windows 8 can be fixed by following any of fixed explained below.

Besides these fixes, it’s best to also try some basic troubleshooting techniques:

  1. Make sure you have enough space on your hard disk
  2. Check the hard disk cables are properly connected
  3. If you recently installed software or a driver, uninstall it and reboot
  4. If you recently added new hardware, evacuate it and reboot to check if the mistake shows up once more. This blunder can be caused by incongruent equipment with your system.

1: Update BIOS

Your computer’s manufacturer website has information about the latest BIOS version you should run on your computer. If your BIOS current version isn’t the latest available, upgrade the BIOS and reboot the system.

System Thread Exception Not Handled

This Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) error, System Thread Exception Not Handled, mostly appears because of incompatible graphics drivers.
You can fix this error in Windows by rebooting into Safe Mode and then uninstalling the current graphics driver and installing the latest version available from the vendor.

  • Restart your computer
  • Press the F8 key (or Shift + F8)
  • Click Repair your computer
  • Snap troubleshooting, at that point Advanced alternatives, at that point Windows Startup Settings
  • Click Restart
  • At the Advanced Boot Options, select Safe Mode and hit Enter.
